My friends in the hotel and tourism sector, once bustling with guests, faced empty lobbies and uncertain futures. Amid this challenging time, my lifelong passion for scuba diving ignited an idea.
Since I got certified at 12, I've always been drawn to the ocean's vibrant depths and the allure of tropical destinations. Why not build a community that shared this same love for adventure and the sea? That's when Salty Reef was born.
What started as a spark quickly grew into something special. Salty Reef became a hub for ocean enthusiasts, offering a way to connect during a time of isolation. We launched with a splash—giving away unforgettable scuba diving vacations to inspire wanderlust and support the travel industry.
Alongside, we created vibrant merch, a lively newsletter, and a Facebook travel group to bring like-minded explorers together.
